Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Pantaleon facing right, with curly hair rendered in fine detail. The youthful royal effigy is shown in profile, wearing a fillet or diadem across the brow, characteristic of Hellenistic regal portraiture. The facial features are sensitively modelled in the Greek tradition, with a straight nose and idealized expression. The field around the portrait is plain, with no visible legend on the obverse.
