The youthful, idealised effigy displays well-modelled facial features with a prominent brow and delicate profile. The hair falls in thick wavy locks behind the neck, a characteristic representation of the god in Thessalian coinage of the late Republican period. The field is plain and unadorned, with no legend on the obverse. |
