| Obverse description | Draped bust of Livia facing right, depicted in the guise of a deity or personification, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian mint. The portrait displays the characteristic Julio-Claudian coiffure with hair swept back from the forehead. The field is largely plain, with the design occupying the central area of the flan. The coin is struck on an irregularly shaped bronze flan typical of small Alexandrian bronze denominations of the early Imperial period. |
