| Beschrijving voorzijde | Draped bust of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with a serpent coil on the bowl and decorative elements on the crest. The goddess's facial features are rendered in a competent Hellenistic style, with flowing locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's cheek guard. A serpent is depicted descending along the left side of the field, a characteristic attribute associated with Athena. The overall composition is boldly struck on a broad, irregular flan typical of late Hellenistic civic bronze coinage. |

Two pilei (the caps of the Dioscuri) flank the eagle, each surmounted by a star, with an additional star appearing in the upper right field. The magistrate's legend is divided above and below the central type, identifying the issuing city and the responsible civic official. The overall reverse composition reflects standard Apameian civic bronze iconography of the late Hellenistic period. |
