Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Diodotus Tryphon facing right, wearing a royal diadem with flowing ties visible behind the head. The effigy displays characteristic Hellenistic portraiture with naturalistic facial features and curling hair rendered in low relief. The flan is irregularly shaped, consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the late Seleucid period. The surface shows heavy patination typical of provincial bronze issues of this era. No legend appears on the obverse, the portrait alone serving as the primary identifying device.
