| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Demetrios II Nikator facing right, the hair rendered in flowing locks tied with a royal diadem whose ends fall behind the neck. The portrait exhibits the characteristic Hellenistic royal style, with fine facial features and a slightly idealized profile. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with bronze coinage of the Seleucid mint at Tyre. No visible legend on the obverse. |
