Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in three-quarter view with fine detail. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, revealing elaborately rendered hair falling in twisted locks along the neck. The facial features are rendered in the refined Hellenistic style characteristic of early Seleucid coinage, with a delicate profile and a high forehead. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered bronze production of the period.
