| Reverse description | A large winged caduceus displayed centrally in the field, with two serpents intertwined around the staff, their heads meeting at the top, and a pair of wings spreading above the junction point. The lower portion of the staff terminates in a simple rounded tip. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΜΥΝΤΟΥ (of King Amyntas) is distributed around the periphery, with ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ along the upper arc and ΑΜΥΝΤΟΥ along the lower arc. The design is bold and well-centered within a plain border, typical of the Hellenistic bronze coinage of the period. |
