Reverse description Standing figure of Apollo, nude, facing front in a three-quarter pose, his weight resting on a grounded bow held in his left hand and a long sceptre or arrow in his right. The deity is rendered in the classical Hellenistic style associated with Seleucid Apollo types, reflecting the dynastic religious iconography of the house of Seleucus. The Greek royal legend is divided in two columns flanking the figure. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges of a hammered bronze issue.
