Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in Hellenistic style with flowing wavy locks tied at the back; the facial features are finely modelled with a strong profile, almond-shaped eye, and delicate lips. The laurel wreath encircles the head, consistent with the iconographic tradition of Apollo as patron deity of Kolophon. The flan is slightly irregular and the surfaces show an even olive-green patina characteristic of ancient bronze coinage from Ionia. No inscription appears in the obverse field.
