Dichalkon

Myrina was one of the more productive mints in Aeolis during the Hellenistic period, and its bronze issues circulated primarily within the local economy of the Aegean coastal region. The city fell under Pergamene influence and later Roman control during precisely this window, making attribution of individual issues to specific political moments difficult without hoard context.

GCV 4220 and SNG Copenhagen 225 represent the standard reference alignment for this type, with Copenhagen material largely drawn from 19th-century collection activity in western Anatolia.
