| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-influenced style with flowing hair swept back behind the neck and a laurel wreath crowning the brow. The facial features are carefully modelled with a defined eye, straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The neck is bare, and the effigy occupies the full field of the flan, characteristic of Akarnainian bronze coinage of the late Classical period. |
