Obverse description Central field dominated by a large stylized cross pattée with flared terminals, rendered in a decorative, interlaced Gothic manner typical of late medieval Polish hammered coinage. The cross arms subdivide the field into four quadrants, each filled with ornamental foliate or geometric motifs. A beaded or plain inner circle frames the central device, and a similarly treated outer border encircles the entire design. The overall style reflects the crude but characteristic engraving of the Wschowa mint under John I Albert.
