| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays a bold Latin cross with squared arm-ends occupying most of the inner circle, which is defined by a prominent beaded border. The four quadrants formed by the cross are plain. A circular Latin legend surrounds the beaded border, commencing with a cross pattée, rendered in Gothic-influenced lettering typical of southern French feudal deniers of the thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hammered production. |
