Obverse description A plain cross pattée divides the field into four quarters, with a small annulet positioned in the second and third quarters. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, outside of which the Latin legend is arranged around the periphery. The design is characteristic of the feudal coinage of Champagne, struck by hand with irregular flan edges typical of hammered medieval billon deniers.

Reverse description The reverse features the TEBO monogram, a complex interlaced design formed by the letters of TRECAS, in which the letter O is replaced by a prominent open crescent, the distinctive feature identifying this emission. The monogram is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the surrounding Latin legend reading along the coin's periphery. The overall composition reflects the well-established Champagne monogram tradition adapted under Count Henry II, with the crescent serving as a privy mark or type differentiator.
