Reverse description A prominent Greek cross with broad arms fills the central field, its design forming a lozenge-like square at the crossing with pronounced triangular projections at each corner, and a single pellet at the center. The cross arms extend nearly to the coin's edge, dividing the field into four quadrants. A partially legible Latin circumscription borders the design, reading +[...]DVOC, with the remaining letters lost due to the irregular hammered flan. The style is bold and geometric, consistent with Merovingian ecclesiastical coinage of the early eighth century.
