| 正面描述 | Frontal bust of a ruler, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner, wearing a crown or diadem and armored garments. The figure is shown facing forward with arms extended, holding what appears to be a scepter or lance to the left. The design is rendered in bold, high relief typical of Bohemian hammered deniers of the late 12th century, with no surrounding legend. The irregular flan and die-struck details reflect the hand-crafted nature of medieval coinage production. |

Wenceslaus II had a complicated path to the Bohemian throne — this issue dates to his first, brief reign as duke before he was driven out by his uncle Conrad Otto and forced to seek Hohenstaufen backing for his restoration. The political instability of the 1190s in Bohemia produced multiple competing coinages in rapid succession, which is why Cach's numbering in this stretch of the series reflects unusually tight clustering of types across very short reigns.
