Additional information

Vratislaus II governed Olomouc as an appanage prince under his brother Spytihněv II, a subordinate arrangement that lasted until Spytihněv's death in 1061 freed him to eventually become the first King of Bohemia in 1085. The Olomouc mint operated as a distinct issuing authority during this period, producing deniers that circulated within the Moravian administrative zone rather than the broader Bohemian domain.

Cach 333 is among the scarcer attributions in the Bohemian-Moravian denier sequence — the dies of this appanage coinage were not standardized with Prague production.
