| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded or wire inner circle, the Polish Jagiellonian eagle displayed facing left, wings spread, rendered in the Gothic heraldic style typical of mid-15th century Hungarian hammered coinage. The eagle occupies the central field, its plumage indicated by crude but expressive die work. The circumferential legend, separated by pellets, reads in uncial Latin script and identifies the issuing ruler. |
