Denier - Vladislaus I

Vladislaus I ruled Bohemia as duke under perpetual pressure from both the Holy Roman Emperor and his own Přemyslid relatives — his reign saw at least two serious challenges to his throne from within the dynasty. Coinage from this period was struck at the Prague mint under feudal arrangements that gave the duke limited direct control over die production, which accounts for the considerable die variety seen across surviving deniers of this type.

Cach 540 is among the more consistently documented of his issues, though die alignment and flan quality vary sharply across known specimens.
