Obverse description A small plain cross at centre, enclosed within a raised circular ring or annulet. The cross arms extend to the inner border of the ring, forming a wheel-like motif. Surrounding the central device, a counter-clockwise circular legend reads * ZVRICH, bordered on the outer edge by a partial beaded circle. The flan exhibits the characteristic four-pinched quadrilobe outline typical of Swiss bracteate-influenced pfennigs of this period.
