Denier 'Vierzipfliger'

Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field features a plain cross pattée set within a raised inner circle, surrounded by a beaded inner ring. Radiating outward from this ring are four stylized foliate or architectural ornaments arranged at the cardinal points, giving the coin its characteristic 'Vierzipfliger' (four-pointed) form. The overall design is executed in a bold, low-relief Romanesque style typical of 12th-century Swiss ecclesiastical coinage. A star or small ornamental device appears in the upper field between the radiating elements. The peripheral legend reads * ZVRICH along the beaded outer border.
