Obverse description Two facing busts conjoined side by side, depicted in a flat, archaic relief characteristic of Ottonian-era Rhenish coinage; a small annulet appears above the heads in the upper field. The busts are rendered in a simple, stylised manner with rounded facial features, set within a plain inner border. The overall composition is symmetrical, with no surrounding legend on this side. The flan exhibits the distinctive four-pinched ('Vierzipfliger') irregular quadrilateral form typical of early Swiss bracteate-related issues.

Reverse description Reverse of this hammered bracteate-style Pfennig is essentially a mirror impression of the obverse design, as is typical of thin, single-die or two-die struck deniers of this period from the Fraumünster Abbey mint. The incuse or weakly struck reverse reflects the conjoined busts motif, with no distinct legend or additional decorative elements discernible. The plain, unadorned field and irregular flan shape are consistent with the Vierzipfliger type from the Zurich Abbey coinage of the late 11th century.
