Obverse description Crude hammered silver denier of irregular flan with a highly stylized central design, likely depicting a seated or standing figure in a schematic rendering typical of Moravian bracteate-influenced deniers of the early twelfth century. To the right of the central device, a cross with a globule at its base is visible, a common motif on contemporary Bohemian and Moravian coinage. The overall design is executed in a primitive, flat relief characteristic of the period, with no legible legend present in the field.

Additional information

VP#240 sits in a poorly documented gap in Moravian numismatic history — the 1130s saw overlapping claims among the Přemyslid princes administering the Moravian appanages, making firm attribution to a single ruler genuinely difficult. The "unified" designation reflects a brief administrative consolidation rather than any clean dynastic moment, and the anonymous nature of this striking is itself historically telling: several Moravian deniers of this decade deliberately omit ruler identification, possibly during periods of contested succession.
