| Obverse description | Architectural motif consisting of two crenellated towers rising above a horizontal wall rendered in a schematic, Romanesque style. Small stars or pellets appear in the field flanking the towers. The overall design is characteristic of late 12th-century Austrian-Carinthian bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage, struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan with weak areas at the periphery. |
