| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by a large Gothic letter B rendered in relief, enclosed within a beaded (grenetis) circle bordered by two concentric rings. The letter B is boldly executed in the medieval style typical of Genoese-influenced municipal coinage. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck hammered production of the period. The overall design is simple and heraldic, serving as a civic emblem for the commune of Bonifacio. |
