| 背面描述 | Central field bears a crosslet — a plain cross with small crosslets at each arm terminus — set within a beaded or linear inner circle, characteristic of the Tournois denier tradition. The surrounding Latin legend, reading SIT NOMEN D BENEDICTVS (abbreviated), invokes the benediction of the Holy Name, a standard pious inscription on French medieval and early modern small billon coinage. The irregular flan and flat areas of relief are consistent with hand-hammered manufacture at the Grenoble mint, identified by the Z mintmark. The overall style conforms to the first type of Dauphiné denier tournois issued under Francis I. |
