附加信息	Henri VI's claim to the French throne rested on the Treaty of Troyes (1420), which disinherited the Dauphin and named the English king heir to France. This denier tournois was struck under that dual-monarchy arrangement, making it simultaneously a French royal issue and an English imperial instrument. The tournois series had been minted at Tours since the Capetian period; by 1423, the English regency government was issuing it from multiple occupied mints to assert administrative normalcy across territory still actively contested by Armagnac forces. Henri was just two years old when this coin was struck.
