Reverse description Central device composed of two fleurs-de-lis flanking a capital letter A, the whole surmounted by a three-point label (lambel), a heraldic charge denoting a cadet branch. The legend originates at 12 o'clock and encircles the design within a smooth inner circle. The date appears as part of the reverse legend, a characteristic feature of this twelfth type of the denier tournois coinage of Gaston d'Orléans.
