Obverse description Central field dominated by a large ornate cross with globular terminals and a beaded central element, flanked on each side by a smaller Maltese-style cross. Four crescents are positioned in the quadrants formed by the arms of the central cross, with their horns oriented outward. A fleur-de-lis motif appears below the central cross, and a cross pattée with a globus surmounts the composition at top. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, executed in the hammered medieval style characteristic of Árpád-dynasty coinage.
