Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, a central cross whose arms are joined by curved lines forming a closed design, flanked by four small crosses in the cardinal positions and four outward-facing crescents in the diagonal fields. The composition is rendered in a primitive Romanesque hammered style characteristic of medieval Hungarian bracteat-influenced deniers.
