| Obverse description | A horizontal bar with circular rim ornaments at each end bisects the field. Above the bar, a cross flanked by a reversed S-shaped symbol and a crescent; below the bar, the design is mirrored, repeating the same elements in inverted arrangement. The composition is entirely decorative and geometric, with no legend, characteristic of the bracteate-influenced Hungarian deniers of the mid-12th century. |
