| Beschrijving keerzijde | Bust of Saint Wenceslas facing right in profile, rendered in characteristic Bohemian Romanesque hammered style, with a radiate or nimbate head and holding a prominent patriarchal or processional cross in the left hand. The figure is draped and shown to the waist with schematic armour or robe detailing. The peripheral Latin legend SCS WENCESLAVS encircles the design, invoking the patron saint of Bohemia, separated from the central type by a beaded border. |

Spytihněv II ruled Bohemia from 1055 to 1061, and his accession followed the death of his father Břetislav I — whose succession law dividing Bohemia among male Přemyslid heirs created the political fragmentation these small deniers were minted to navigate. The dating of Cach#327 to 1050–1054 places production in the final years of Břetislav's reign, suggesting this type may have been struck in anticipation of or immediately surrounding the transfer of power rather than squarely within Spytihněv's confirmed rule.
Přemyslid deniers of this period were minted at Hradec and Prague, with output tightly controlled by ducal authority.
