Descrizione del dritto	Central field features a stylized monogram or symbol enclosed within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a band of radiating wedge-shaped lobes or petals in a sunburst arrangement, characteristic of Carolingian-influenced feudal coinage. The overall design is executed in a bold, somewhat primitive hammered style typical of tenth-century French ecclesiastical mints. The circumferential legend, reading VIENNΛ S, is distributed around the outer field between the radiating elements. A cross pattée initiates the legend. The flan is irregular and slightly buckled, consistent with hand-struck production of the period.
