Denier - Sobeslaus Slavník

Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field features a stylized frontal bust or figure within a beaded inner circle, depicted in a schematic Romanesque manner with what appears to be a draped or robed torso and flanking annulets or pellets serving as decorative elements. The design is characteristic of early Bohemian coinage from the Slavník dynasty, rendered in a crude but expressive hammered style. The surrounding Latin legend +SOBESLAV runs along the outer periphery, separated from the inner circle by a ring of pellets. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of hand-struck medieval deniers of this period.
