Obverse description Central field features a stylized hand issuing from below, rendered in a schematic early medieval manner with three elongated fingers, flanked on either side by small globular ornaments or pellets. Above the hand, a broad arch or collar-like form frames the design within an inner beaded or cable border. The surrounding legend, struck in retrograde or irregular Latin characters, runs along the coin's outer periphery against the flat field.

Reverse description Central field depicts a schematic facing bust of a saint or ecclesiastical figure, rendered in crude early medieval style with a large circular eye, radiating hair or crown of lines at the top of the head, and a draped mantle suggested by diagonal lines. A small cross appears to the right of the bust within the inner circle. The surrounding Latin legend is distributed around the periphery in irregular, partly retrograde characters typical of late tenth-century Bohemian coinage.
