Описание аверса	Central field features a long cross with pellets in the angles, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The cross divides the inner field into four quadrants, each adorned with a small pellet or annulet, lending the design a characteristic Ottonian decorative quality. The surrounding legend, executed in bold Carolingian majuscules, reads SICEFRIDS EPS (Bishop Siegfried), distributed around the periphery between the beaded circle and the coin's irregular rim. The die-cutting displays the angular, slightly crude style typical of late tenth- to early eleventh-century episcopal hammered coinage from the Swabian region.
