| Description de l’avers | Central field depicts a stylized facing bust of the archbishop rendered in the flat, schematic manner typical of late 13th-century Austrian ecclesiastical coinage. The figure wears a mitre surmounted by a rosette or star ornament at the apex, with the vestment folds indicated by incised diagonal lines flanking the bust on either side. A horizontal bar or pectoral element crosses the lower portion of the bust, beneath which a rounded shield-like form with a central pellet is visible. The design is enclosed within a plain raised inner circle, with the outer rim showing the characteristic irregular flan edge of hammered coinage. No legend appears on this face. |

| Description du revers | Central device consists of the arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg: a shield bearing a horizontal bar (fess) with a central pellet, surmounted by a three-turreted crown or mural crown rendered in bold relief. Two vertical staffs or crozier-like elements flank the shield on either side, framing the composition symmetrically. A small heraldic device, possibly a fleur-de-lis or trefoil, is visible to the left of the central group in the field. The whole is set within a plain raised inner circle against a flat, striated field, characteristic of the hammered bracteate-influenced pfennig tradition of Salzburg. The reverse legend identifying the mint city is distributed around the periphery. |
