| Obverse description | Plain cross pattée at center, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A circular Latin legend surrounds the inner circle in the outer field, partially legible due to the irregular flan and die wear typical of medieval hammered billon coinage. The cross extends to the inner circle, with the quarters left plain. The overall style is consistent with late 13th to early 14th century French feudal coinage. |
