Reverse description Central field displays the city name of Huy (HOIVM) flanked by the invocation of Saint Lambert (SCS LANDBERTVS), the patron saint of the Diocese of Liège, arranged around a group of four pellets disposed above and below a central point, serving as a decorative device. The lettering is crudely struck in the Romanesque epigraphic style, distributed around the flan in retrograde or irregular disposition consistent with Mosan ecclesiastical coinage of the early 11th century.
