Obverse description Central fleur-de-lis in raised relief, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A Latin legend reading BΛRCINON (Barcelona) surrounds the central device in the outer field, partially visible due to the irregular flan and typical die-shift of hammered coinage. The lettering is rendered in a Romanesque epigraphic style characteristic of 11th-century Catalan monetary production. The overall composition is typical of Carolingian-derived feudal deniers of the Iberian March.

Reverse description A plain cross with broad arms divides the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing a small annulet (ring) at the angle formed by the arms. The cross extends nearly to the inner beaded circle, creating a bold and symmetrical design. A partial legend is present in the outer field, though largely illegible due to flan irregularity and wear consistent with hammered medieval silver coinage. The style is closely related to contemporary Carolingian and Occitan feudal denier types.
