Obverse description Central field displays a large Gothic letter 'S' surmounted by a royal crown with fleurs-de-lis, the whole design rendered in the medieval hammered style typical of early 16th-century Polish coinage. The crowned 'S' monogram serves as the royal cypher of Sigismund I (Zygmunt I Stary), occupying virtually the entire flan. The relief is bold but irregular due to the hand-struck technique, with the crown's arches and jewelling clearly articulated above the monogram. No legend is present on this side. The irregular flan edge is characteristic of hammered silver deniers of this period.

Reverse description The reverse presents a displayed Prussian eagle facing forward, with wings spread and feathers rendered in stylised, deeply struck relief, filling the entire field. The eagle's head is shown with a small crown, and the body features a scaled or cross-hatched breast pattern typical of Jagiellonian-era heraldic dies. The talons are visible at the base of the design, gripping the lower field. No surrounding legend appears, consistent with the small module of the Prussian denier denomination. The overall design follows the iconographic conventions established for the Royal Prussia coinage under Sigismund I.
