Reverse description Central lozenge-shaped heraldic shield occupying the field, characteristic of Catalan municipal coinage of the period. The shield is enclosed between two beaded circles, with the Latin municipal legend arranged around the periphery identifying the city of Vic. The die work is typical of the irregular, hand-struck technique employed for these small copper deniers, resulting in an uneven strike with portions of the legend occasionally weak or off-flan.
