| Beschrijving keerzijde | A plain, bold cross with four equal arms divides the reverse field into quadrants, each containing a pellet at the center of the arm terminals. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the circumferential legend NIVERNIS CIVIT running between the inner and outer borders. The design follows the standard feudal denier type of the Nevers mint, reflecting the civic and ecclesiastical authority of the county. Letterforms are uncial in style, typical of late 12th-century French feudal coinage. |
