| Obverse description | Central field depicts a mitred bishop seated facing, robed in episcopal vestments and holding a crozier in the left hand; the figure is rendered in a flat, Romanesque hammered style characteristic of 12th-century Lotharingian ecclesiastical coinage. A partial beaded inner border is visible along the lower right margin of the flan.
