| Reverse description | Central field features a prominent cross formed by multiple radiating strokes, around which the mint legend is arranged in an abbreviated circular or segmented layout. The lettering is rendered in the angular, somewhat irregular style typical of early Carolingian provincial issues, with individual letters separated by the arms of the cross. The entire design is enclosed within a border of large pellets, consistent with the obverse treatment. The overall execution reflects the relatively crude but vigorous die-cutting of a minor Frankish mint. |
