| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylized temple or church facade device — a characteristic Carolingian mint symbol — rendered in a highly schematic, geometric manner. A Latin cross appears to the left of the central motif, with the monogram AR composed of interlaced letters occupying the field, surmounted by a horizontal bar or roof element.
