Obverse description Equestrian figure depicted in profile facing right, showing a mounted warrior or palatine on horseback in a crude, archaic style characteristic of late 12th-century Polish bracteate-influenced deniers. The rider appears armed, with linear rendering of the horse's legs and body beneath. The field is uneven due to the hammered flan, and the design is executed in low relief with bold, simplified strokes typical of provincial Polish minting of the Piast period.
