| Beschrijving voorzijde | Plain cross pattée set within a raised inner circle, the whole surrounded by an outer border of large pellets arranged at regular intervals around the circumference. The cross divides the inner field into four equal quarters. The legend OTTO appears in the surrounding area between the inner circle and the pellet border, referencing the issuing count. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked, characteristic of early medieval hammered billon coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A large capital H occupies the central field, flanked on either side by a pellet, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend, introduced by a cross pattée, reads MVSINO CIV and refers to the civitas of Mâcon. The lettering is rendered in bold, somewhat irregular Roman capitals typical of eleventh-century feudal workshop production. The flan is irregular with minor edge splits consistent with hammered manufacture. |
