背面描述 A crested helm facing left, set upon a three-stepped pedestal in the center of the field. To each side of the helmet rises a banner or flag on a staff, rendered in low relief. Beneath the left-hand flag, an eagle shield — the heraldic emblem of Brandenburg — is depicted between two pellets or points. The composition is unlettered and executed in the schematic heraldic style characteristic of late 13th-century North German hammered coinage.

附加信息

Otto IV and Otto V ruled Brandenburg jointly — a co-regency arrangement that was less a partnership than a managed inheritance dispute. The joint titulature on this issue reflects the political necessity of acknowledging both claimants simultaneously, a compromise that characterized much of the Ascanian dynasty's late-thirteenth-century governance as the line began its slow fragmentation toward extinction in 1320.

Bahrf#344 is among the thinner bracteate-adjacent deniers of the Brandenburg sequence, struck at a weight already below the regional norm by the 1290s as silver debasement crept through the Mark's monetary output.
